AI Product Designer / Design Engineer

Hello! My name is Karina and I'm an HR at Paralect.

We're looking for startup designers who design and build with AI to join our team.

Previously designers used to be divided into UI/UX designers, marketing designers and motion designers, but not anymore. Tools have progressed, the web became standardised and AI now helps to create great layouts fast and build real products, not just Figma prototypes. Today we expect the best designers to cover the full process of product development and marketing.

You'll work in small productive teams directly with startup founders to design delightful, meaningful and modern products fast. You'll need to design MVPs in fast sprints (in under 1 week), switch to different products, until some products take off, gain traction and require more of your involvement.

Responsibilities:

• Designing full-stack: landing pages, web applications and media assets (e.g. landing page visuals, social media posts, in-app banners, pitch decks)

• Building live designs in AI tools like Claude Code, Lovable, Replit or others

• Generating media assets in AI tools like Midjourney, Nano Banana or others

• Curious about modern design tools like Paper, Unicorn Studio, Spline, Pencil etc.

• Animating assets with tools like Jitter, Lottie or Rive, designing micro-interactions

• Product thinking, building only meaningful features for target audience, avoiding scope creep

• Clear written communication, keeping team updated daily, writing meaningful landing page and in-app copy

• Attention to detail, avoiding generic AI slop, desire to build world-class designs

• Working around Shadcn components and design system, reusing wide ecosystem of existing pre-built high-quality components

• Researching modern products to understand UX/UI trends and patterns, to use them as reference. Using inspiration directories like Mobbin

• Redesigning existing products and designing from scratch

We suggest:
- Salary pegged to the US dollar.
- Employment type: B2B contract.
