English teacher (ESL) in primary school

Bilimkana American School was founded in 2016. The school is located in the centre of the Bishkek city. It consists of primary, secondary, and high school. Bilimkana American School has all the modern facilities and the large territory. Here the children have an opportunity not only for studying but discovering and developing their skills at full. Qualification requirements:

• Completed higher education in English Language Teaching (ESL) – Bachelor’s degree or above
• Completed CELTA/TEFL is an asset
• At least 3 years of experience in teaching pupils
• Computer literacy with practical experience using Microsoft applications and MS Office package
• Experience in using EduPage.org will be an advantage
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in team

Duties:

Under the supervision of the Head of English Department, the English teacher will:

• Teach and conduct the classes according to the Bilimkana American School English Language Programme
• Provide high-quality academic services to all pupils and strive to improve their English and potential
• Assess the students on a regular basis and according to the given syllabus (quarterly and half-yearly)
• Fill in the e-journal with grades, lesson plans, comments, and/or other necessary notes
• Provide all the necessary reports to the Head of the English Department
• Create and propose new academic techniques and tools together with the Head of English Department in order to improve the educational content of the school
• Participate in all the necessary staff meetings, events, and other activities directed at development and improvement of the educational process.

Conditions:

We are hiring both full-time and ​​​​​​part-time teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. The workload will depend on teaching hours.
