Inspector

Position Objective

The Inspector is responsible for conducting independent inspections, investigating violations, and ensuring operational compliance across the organization. The role aims to identify risks, maintain discipline, improve operational standards, and support management in building a transparent and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inspection & Compliance Monitoring

• Conduct periodic, surprise, and ad-hoc inspections across operational sites, branches, warehouses, or relevant business units
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, operational procedures, company regulations, and code of conduct
• Identify operational gaps, policy violations, misconduct, fraud indicators, or non-compliance issues
• Collect evidence, verify information, and document inspection findings accurately
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, violation records, and supporting documentation for management review

2. Investigation & Violation Handling

• Investigate incidents, complaints, operational abnormalities, and disciplinary violations
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues and contributing factors
• Coordinate with relevant departments (Operations, HR, Legal, Security, etc.) to verify incidents and gather information
• Propose corrective actions, preventive measures, and disciplinary recommendations where necessary
• Follow up on action plans and monitor implementation effectiveness

3. Risk Control & Operational Improvement

• Identify operational risks and areas vulnerable to fraud, misconduct, or process failures
• Recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency
• Support the development and enhancement of inspection procedures, compliance standards, and reporting mechanisms

4. Reporting & Cross-functional Coordination

• Provide timely and accurate reports to management regarding inspection results, investigation outcomes, and key risks
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, investigation data, and personnel-related matters
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper handling of violations and resolution of operational issues
• Support urgent investigations or special assignments as required by management

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Security Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Occupational Safety, or related fields
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in inspection, compliance, internal control, investigation, QA/QC, security, safety, or law enforcement roles
• Experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, retail, or large-scale operations is preferred

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in the following areas are highly preferred:

• Internal inspection / compliance control
• Security or loss prevention
• Military, police, investigation, or law enforcement
• Logistics control tower / transportation monitoring
• HSE / operational audit environment

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel frequently for inspection activities if required
• Flexible to support urgent investigations outside normal working hours when necessary
• English communication is an advantage.
