Exciting news!

We’re an International Language School, organizing an English camp in the summer, just outside of Moscow. We are super excited so as our kids. All we need for it to be a success is YOU!

Board games, sports, dancing, karaoke and many other activities. Does that sound like your kind of summer?

We try to be as fun and creative as possible, but we are of course pretty serious and responsible, since it is a camp and we deal with kids. Please, read the job offer up to the end to learn all the details.

There is 1 session this summer, 2 weeks:

June 13th – June 26th

It’s an exciting adventure! There are no English lessons. Football, hugs, dancing, movies, debates, laughing, crying and everything in between. You can run your creativity wild in creating activities for kids. We have tons of equipment for and many years of experience organizing camps.

If this makes you want to jump up and say “Hell, yeah!” then it’s strange we haven’t met yet…

Just want to point out the obvious and not so obvious when it comes to being a camp leader

• You stay focused on the job at all times. The second you switch off and decide to just relax and have some time for yourself, you get 10 kids that are bored, 2 that just got in a fight, 5 that need some games you promised to bring them and some that want to get some medicine for sore throat. It will take you a lifetime to undo all of it
• You work in a team. You can be the greatest at everything… Unless you work with others, let them help you and help them as well, nothing gets done on time and with ease. This one is major
• Love for kids. Right? Seems obvious but let me just reiterate this… you’re spending 14 days with kids. 24 hours each day. They will want to hug you, play with you, know your life story, do their hair your way and share their stories with you. Unless you get a kick from this, it will be hard
• You are physically fit and active. You will be bent in every position possible, carry some kids because they love you so much and decide to pull on your arms and jump on your back. Football, volleyball, basketball, dance, you name it… Cancel your gym membership, you come back in the best shape possible after the camp
• Your spoken English is great. English is the only language spoken in the camp except for very few situations

Duties

• Organize

What kids do from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. is completely up to you. All sports, activities, crafts, meals, quiet hour, good nights and in-betweens YOU schedule for them

• Games and Activities

Board Games: We have a selection of about 100 board games in the camp. YOU should be able to learn a game, figure out the easiest way to explain the rules to kids, cheer them on, help with strategies and play the game with them

Sports: You should be able to conduct “standard” sports (basketball, soccer, volleyball and badminton) and competitions

Master Classes: Share some of your hobbies and talents with the kids. YOU don’t have to be great at it but passionate enough to get kids excited and teach it to them. Just to name a few: drawing, yoga, dancing, singing, acting, crafts, martial arts, etc…

• Safety

The most important is obviously kids’ safety. We want them to come back super healthy and in one piece. YOU tell them how to dress for outside, activities without harm to their health, help resolving conflicts, get medical attention quickly if needed, safety in the swimming pool

• Self-Organization

None of the above can happen without YOU being able to organize your day

• Love for kids

Love kids and believe in them, regardless of their character and “peculiarities”

Rewards

• Transfers to the camp, hotel accommodations and 4 meals a day are complimentary
• You get to spend your summer in a beautiful, secluded place with lots of water and greens

• Salary 40 000 for 2 weeks
