Legal Counsel / Advisor

- Advise on corporate structure, governance matters, and regulatory requirements for the firm's Tashkent operations
- Ensure the firm's operations comply with all applicable Uzbek laws, including labor, tax, anti-corruption, and data protection regulations
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including lease agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, and employment contracts
- Serve as the primary point of contact with local regulatory authorities (tax, labor, licensing bodies) as needed
- Identify legal risks associated with office operations and propose mitigation strategies
- Conduct legal research on Uzbek laws and regulations as needed for office operations
- Advise international colleagues on local legal requirements affecting office operations
