Lead Geologist (West Africa Projects)

We are looking for a Lead Geologist to join mining and exploration projects in West African countries. The role includes geological assessment of deposits, organization of field operations, and coordination of work at remote sites.

Responsibilities

1. Assess the potential and commercial prospects of geological projects and deposits.
2. Analyze geological data and prepare recommendations on further project development.
3. Organize mining and exploration activities at the project site.
4. Analyze and select the required technical equipment for field and mining operations.
5. Organize and coordinate field work, including work in a rotational camp.
6. Ensure proper material and technical support for field teams.
7. Coordinate interaction between geological, technical, and operational teams.
8. Prepare reports on project progress, geological results, and operational needs.

Requirements

1. Higher education in Geology, Mining Engineering, Exploration Geology, or a related field.
2. 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
3. Experience in mining, exploration, or field geological projects.
4. Experience in West African countries will be a strong advantage.
5. Ability to work in remote locations and rotational work conditions.
6. Strong organizational and communication skills.
7. Ability to analyze geological information and make practical recommendations.
8. English language level: B2 or higher.
