Business Analyst

We, Aksamit Mobile Solutions, specialize in application development for tech startups and established enterprises in the US and Western Europe. Our projects are not tied to one area, so there is an opportunity to work with cool products in Fintech, Health, Social Media and Blockchain.

About the Project

We are building a smart building and IoT analytics platform that consolidates data from sensors, building management systems, and third-party sources into a unified dashboard.

The platform enables organizations to monitor and optimize building performance in real time — including energy efficiency, air quality, occupancy, and workspace utilization.

Our mission is to help companies improve sustainability, reduce operational costs, and enhance employee well-being through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders and clients
• Formalize and document business and functional requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Product, Engineering, clients) to define solutions
• Work closely with designers to translate requirements into UX/UI solutions
• Create user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• Prepare and describe tasks for the development team
• Contribute to solution design, including data flows and IoT integrations
• Analyze key metrics (energy consumption, occupancy, air quality, etc.)
• Support the development team throughout the implementation process
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst
• Experience with data-driven products or analytics platforms
• Basic understanding of IoT ecosystems (sensors, devices, protocols)
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and microservices architecture
• Ability to work with data (SQL or basic analytics skills)
• Experience with process modeling (BPMN, UML, data flow diagrams)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• English level: B2+ or higher
