About the Project

We are looking for a skilled NetSuite Developer to join our team and deliver customized NetSuite solutions for clients across the US and Canada. You will work on end-to-end development: from SuiteScripts and SuiteFlow automations to complex integrations and data migrations. This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

What You’ll Do

NetSuite Development & Customization
✔ Design, develop, and deploy SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 (Client Scripts, User Event Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, RESTlets, Suitelets, Map/Reduce).
✔ Build and optimize SuiteFlow workflows to automate business processes.
✔ Develop custom records, fields, forms, centers, tabs, and saved searches.
✔ Create custom dashboards, KPI scorecards, and portlet configurations.
✔ Configure roles, permissions, and user access controls (security best practices).
✔ Support SuiteBilling configuration (subscription plans, pricing intervals, recurring revenue).
✔ Manage NetSuite environments (Sandbox, Development, Production) and bundle management.
✔ Perform data migrations, cleansing, and mass updates via CSV imports, SuiteScript, and ETL tools.

Integrations & Data
✔ Integrate NetSuite with third-party platforms via REST/SOAP APIs, CSV imports, middleware(Celigo, Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft).
✔ Write and optimize SuiteQL and saved search queries for reporting and data extraction.
✔ Build RESTlet and SuiteTalk-based integrations for seamless data exchange.
✔ Work with OpenText (within NetSuite) for document management (templates, email capture, workflows).
✔ Design SFTP-based data transfer processes for scheduled imports/exports.

Delivery & Collaboration
✔ Participate in requirements gathering and translate specs into technical designs.
✔ Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and maintain technical documentation.
✔ Troubleshoot production incidents and provide break-fix support.
✔ Support UAT, coordinate test scripts, and provide post-go-live hypercare.
✔ Collaborate with functional consultants, PMs, and client stakeholders.
✔ Contribute to pre-sales activities (scoping, effort estimation, technical proposals).

Continuous Improvement
✔ Stay current with NetSuite quarterly releases and SuiteCloud features.
✔ Proactively optimize existing client solutions.
✔ Share knowledge through internal workshops and peer mentoring.

Who We’re Looking For

✅ 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
✅ Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 (JavaScript).
✅ Solid understanding of NetSuite architecture (records, transactions, custom objects, roles/permissions).
✅ Experience building REST/SOAP API integrations with NetSuite.
✅ Proficiency in SuiteQL and saved searches.
✅ Experience with SuiteFlow / NetSuite Workflow automation.
✅ Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✅ Excellent English communication (ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders).
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

🔸 NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, ERP Consultant).
🔸 Experience with SuiteBilling and subscription/recurring revenue models.
🔸 Familiarity with middleware platforms (Celigo, Dell Boomi).
🔸 Exposure to AI and automation tools (ChatGPT API, Power Automate).
🔸 Experience with Bill.com, Salesforce, or other integrated platforms.
🔸 Knowledge of SFTP-based data transfer processes.
🔸 Prior experience in a NetSuite consultancy or partner environment.
