Content Manager (Out RF and RB)

A European fintech project is looking for an experienced Content Manager. Blackcat has been operating since 2019 and offers an alternative to traditional banking.

The product, developed by the Maltese company Papaya Ltd., is a digital bank that allows users to open accounts with a European IBAN, issue cards, make SEPA transfers, and manage their finances via a mobile application.

Additionally, the service offers cryptocurrency integration, bonus programs, and cashback, targeting both individual users and businesses across digital and high-risk industries.

Responsibilities:

• Own and execute the content strategy and editorial calendar in line with brand, product, and business goals;

• Plan and prioritize content across formats (long reads, opinion pieces, tutorials, reports, social media posts) and channels (blog, LinkedIn, Reddit, community platforms);

• Identify content opportunities based on regulatory changes, market trends, product launches, and audience signals;

• Coordinate content approval with the Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to financial promotion rules and crypto advertising regulations;

• Develop and oversee multimedia formats: short-form videos, infographics, visual explainers, webinars;

• Manage email marketing: editorial planning, content curation, production, and performance analysis;

• Grow the blog/community section as a niche media platform: source, brief, and manage external contributors (guest experts, regular contributors, ghostwriters);

• Produce high-quality long-form content: аналитика, case studies, product explainers, guides, and industry reports;

• Write expert-level content on new topics after in-depth research (from digital resilience and core banking architecture to crypto on/off-ramps and SEPA mechanics);

• Track content performance: organic traffic, engagement, time on page, shares, and conversion into product interest.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial roles, or content management, preferably in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial services;

• Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to confidently cover unfamiliar topics after deep research;

• Basic knowledge of SEO and content optimization, including AI-driven search (AIO/GEO), and ability to collaborate with SEO specialists;

• Experience managing LinkedIn for brands and executives with proven growth in reach and engagement;

• Experience producing or commissioning multimedia content (video, infographics) — editing skills are a plus but not required;

• Understanding of Reddit and community-driven content distribution;

• Confident use of AI tools for research, writing, and content optimization;

• Experience localizing content for different European markets.

Nice to have:

• Experience building and managing a blog or content hub as an editorial product (author sourcing, editorial standards, publishing consistency, quality control);

• Understanding of compliance requirements in financial content and ability to operate within regulatory frameworks without sacrificing quality;

• Knowledge of the crypto ecosystem (exchanges, wallets, on/off-ramps, DeFi basics, regulatory landscape) sufficient to create valuable content;

• Experience working with external contributors: briefing, editing, and quality control;

• Additional languages are a plus.
