Provide legal support for digital products in compliance with market standards and EU/US legislation, including regulation of digital services and online platforms, requirements for consumer-facing digital products, with practical understanding of key regulatory acts and frameworks (GDPR, Digital Services Act, ePrivacy, EU consumer protection framework, DAC6 — at the level of applicability to products and operations, COPPA, DMCA, ICANN requirements).
Practical work with GDPR and related EU digital services regulations, including privacy, cookies, consent mechanisms, online platform requirements, and consumer product regulations (Digital Services Act, ePrivacy, consumer protection regulations — at the level of applicability to products).
Develop and maintain legal documentation architecture for websites and products: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, public agreements, offers, and user documentation.
Handle corporate and contractual matters under Cyprus and pan-European law.
Consider tax and regulatory aspects of cross-border activities, business specifics, payments, and settlements under sanctions restrictions, as well as compliance requirements for high-risk digital clients and online businesses, including work with low-tax jurisdictions (Asia, Middle East, Caribbean, etc.).
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including:
SaaS agreements and software licensing contracts
Software development and IT services agreements
Agreements with contractors and technology partners, considering tax and sanctions restrictions, AML and compliance requirements, and contracts with payment providers.
Participate in building and improving legal and contracting processes.
Proficient use of tools: Jira, Slack, Miro
3–6 years of experience in a legal function within an IT or digital company
Practical experience with European digital services legislation
Strong expertise in SaaS models, software licensing, and public user documentation
Experience supporting cross-border transactions and international contracts
Understanding of and experience with requirements of digital marketing ecosystems, advertising and partner networks, traffic distribution platforms, as well as domain, hosting, and infrastructure services
Ability to work independently without a fully developed legal team
Experience collaborating with external lawyers and consultants
Fluent English (contracts, correspondence, consultations)
