Electrical Engineer

Goldwind, a trusted global strategic partner in clean energy, is seeking one Wind Farm Site Service Engineer (Operation & Maintenance Engineer) for our wind farm construction project in Khromtau, Aktobe, Kazakhstan.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure operational continuity.
• Analyzing and solving fault, escalating complex faults and following up the solution progress.
• Manage the inventory and replacement of wind turbine components, spare parts and other materials.
• Carry out repair and replacement according the service agreement.
• Carry out service inspection and other preventative maintenance activities according to the project schedule and Goldwind's standard operation procedures.
• Prepare service report according to relevant instructions.
• Follow Goldwind's HSE standards and report HSE incidents in timely manner.

Qualifications

• At least bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Power Engineering or similar disciplines.
• Previous working experiences in wind energy will be preferred but not mandatory.
• Have basic HSE training.
• Proficiency in Uzbek and English.
• Proficiency in Chinese and Russian is not mandatory but a plus.
• Good computer and digital literacy.
• Accept rotating shifts and on-call schedules.
• Good at inter-department communication
• The candidate must have legal permit to work in Republic of Uzbekistan.
