Core Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in network integration projects, including planning, commissioning, and acceptance testing of CS Core and IMS Core systems, such as MSC, MGW, HLR, SBC, CSCF, ATS, and other related network elements.
• Provide timely remote and on-site technical support to customers, diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including service interruptions and equipment failures, to minimize downtime.
• Perform health checks, routine maintenance, and operational support for core network elements to ensure network stability and service continuity.
• Prepare technical documentation, including LLD/DD, Methods of Procedure (MoP), and other project or operational documents.
• Work closely with customers, project managers, pre-sales teams, and global support centers to ensure smooth project delivery and high-quality technical service.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to field service engineers and customer technical teams.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
• More than 3 years of relevant experience in core network technical support, system integration, or project implementation is preferred.

Technical Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI 7-layer model.
• Familiarity with IP subnetting, IP addressing, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Good knowledge of core network services, including registration/attach procedures, location update, call forwarding, and other related service flows.
• Understanding of CS/IMS signaling messages and core network signaling procedures.
• Basic knowledge of scripting or software skills, such as Python, is an advantage.
• Good command of MS Office applications.

Skills:
• Good command of English and/or Russian, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment.

Work Conditions:

• Work in the Tashkent office, near Oybek metro station.

• Working hours: 9: 00-18: 00 (lunch break 12: 30-13: 30).

• Working days: Monday - Friday (5/7).

• Days off: Saturday, Sunday.

• Probation period: 3 months.

• Working language: English (spoken English proficiency required; the interview will be conducted in English).
