Role

Provide comprehensive legal support for ROX Group’s investment projects in Uzbekistan, focusing on construction, real estate, and corporate transactions. Ensure compliance with local legislation, manage contractual risks, and safeguard the Group’s interests in negotiations and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts (FIDIC forms – Red, Yellow, Silver, etc.)
- Prepare and manage real estate sale/purchase agreements, lease contracts, and related documentation
- Support M&A transactions, including legal due diligence and structuring

Project Legal Support:
- Provide legal guidance throughout the project lifecycle: development → construction → handover
- Liaise with contractors, investors, and government authorities to ensure compliance
- Monitor legal risks and propose mitigation strategies

Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to Uzbek legislation in construction, real estate, corporate, and labor law
- Coordinate with external counsel and manage relationships with regulators
- Support licensing, permits, and registration procedures

Advisory & Reporting:
- Advise project management and senior leadership on legal implications of business decisions
- Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and reports for HQ
- Represent ROX Group in negotiations and administrative proceedings

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law
Experience: 5–10+ years in construction/real estate legal practice (law firm or in-house)

Skills:
- Strong expertise in FIDIC contracts (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Uzbek civil, corporate, and real estate law
- Experience in M&A and due diligence
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

Languages: Fluent in Russian and Uzbek; English is an advantage
