Logistics Analyst

Job Purpose

The Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for providing advanced analytical support to the logistics organization, enabling data-driven decision-making across transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations. The role focuses on analyzing operational performance, identifying inefficiencies, and developing insights that improve service levels and optimize logistics costs.

The position plays a key role in developing dashboards, reports, and analytical models that support strategic and operational decisions. By transforming complex logistics data into actionable insights, the Senior Logistics Analyst contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence within the logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics Performance Analytics
  Analyze logistics performance across transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations using operational and financial data.
• Dashboard Development and Reporting
  Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that monitor key logistics KPIs such as service level, transportation cost, warehouse productivity, and delivery performance.
• Transportation Optimization Analysis
  Conduct route, network, and load optimization analyses to improve transportation efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
• Warehouse Efficiency Analysis
  Analyze warehouse operations including loading, unloading, storage utilization, and order processing performance to identify productivity improvements.
• Cost Analysis and Control
  Monitor logistics costs including transportation, warehousing, and handling expenses; identify cost drivers and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
• Service Level Monitoring
  Track and analyze service level indicators such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), delivery lead time, and order fulfillment performance.
• Data Modeling and Forecasting
  Develop analytical models to forecast logistics demand, capacity requirements, and operational constraints.
• Operational Improvement Support
  Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing analytical insights for process optimization and operational efficiency.
• Data Quality and Data Governance
  Ensure accuracy and consistency of logistics data across systems and reports.
• Cross-Functional Analytical Support
  Collaborate with transportation, warehouse, and supply chain teams to analyze operational challenges and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Project and Initiative Support
  Support logistics transformation initiatives including digitalization, automation, and system implementation projects.
• Ad-Hoc Strategic Analysis
  Perform complex analytical studies related to logistics network design, distribution planning, and operational risk analysis.

• Accuracy and reliability of logistics reports and dashboards
• Improvement in transportation cost per case / shipment
• Improvement in warehouse productivity metrics
• On-Time In-Full (OTIF) service level performance
• Reduction of logistics inefficiencies identified through analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field
• Master’s degree or professional certifications in supply chain analytics is considered an advantage

Experience Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in logistics analytics, supply chain analytics, or operational analytics
• Experience in transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations is highly preferred
• Experience working in multinational FMCG or large-scale distribution environments is an advantage
