YASHIL FERMA is a Hungarian–Uzbek joint venture and a fully integrated poultry cluster in the Syrdarya region, Uzbekistan, currently in the construction phase.

For the Tashkent Head Office, we are looking for a high-caliber Chief Accountant — a strong, senior professional with solid analytical and strategic thinking, capable of fully owning and driving the accounting function in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full accounting cycle in compliance with Uzbek legislation

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (local and IFRS)

• Oversee tax accounting and ensure full compliance with national tax regulations

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders

• Implement and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making

• Perform other responsibilities as defined in the detailed Job Description (JD).

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting

• At least 3 years in a Chief Accountant role

• Experience in a foreign or joint venture company is a must

• Experience in a manufacturing company is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of IFRS

• Excellent knowledge of the Uzbek national accounting system

• In-depth understanding of the national tax system

• Proficiency in 1C and other accounting software

• English – minimum B2 level

• Russian and Uzbek – fluent

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Open-minded, proactive, and eager to learn

• Willingness to travel regularly to the project site in Syrdarya region.
