Project Control Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project control activities across all project phases: FEED, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and ramp-up
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Monitor project budget, cost control, and risk management
• Coordinate EPC/EPCM contractors, suppliers, and design institutes
• Control and validate project deliverables (Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, I&C)
• Track long-lead equipment procurement (mills, crushers, TSF equipment, power supply)
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulations of Kazakhstan
• Support HSE management: PTW, LOTO, HAZOP/HAZID, Construction Safety
• Prepare project reports for investors and project management

Requirements:

• Higher technical education (Civil Engineering, Mining, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering)
• 5+ years as a Project Manager or Project Control Manager on large industrial facilities
• Experience in gold extraction plants or similar mining & metallurgical projects
• Proven track record of delivering projects to design capacity
• PMP/IPMA certification – an advantage
• Knowledge of crushing/grinding (SAG/ball mill), CIL/CIP, adsorption/desorption, electrolysis, smelting
• Understanding of full project lifecycle (FEL/FEED – IFC – commissioning – ramp-up)
• Knowledge of Kazakh standards and regulations (SNiP/SP, GOST, industrial safety norms)
• Experience with government approvals and inspections
• English fluency required; Chinese – preferred
