Senior Accountant

We are an international company and the official distributor of the realme brand in Kazakhstan. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Senior Accountant.

This role supports the finance team with daily accounting tasks. Responsibilities include bank transactions, inventory accounting and working in the 1C system.

The candidate should have an accounting background, speak Russian and Kazakh fluently, and have basic English skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Bank Management & Cash Accounting

• Manage daily cash receipts and payments.

• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure records match bank statements.

• Process bank transfers, remittances, and foreign exchange transactions.

• Assist the Finance Manager in preparing daily and weekly cash flow reports.

• Follow banking procedures and regulations in Kazakhstan.

• Inventory Management & Cost Accounting

• Verify and manage daily inventory data (inbound, outbound, and stock balance).

• Ensure consistency between physical inventory and accounting records.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in inventory cost calculations, including procurement and transportation costs.

• Work closely with warehouse staff to improve inventory management processes.

• 1C Accounting System

• Operate the 1C accounting system (Kazakhstan version).

• Enter accounting vouchers, maintain records, and generate reports.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in the system.

• Assist with system maintenance, data backup, and user access control.

• Financial Support

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.

• Organize and archive accounting documents and reports.

• Complete other finance tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Certificates in Accounting and 1C system are required.

• 5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Kazakhstan accounting and tax rules.
• Experience with 1C and Excel.
• Fluent in Russian and Kazakh; basic English.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
