IFRS Reporting Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IFRS Reporting Manager to join our finance team in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions within a fast-growing international FMCG group.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly IFRS financial statements for Gorilla Central Asia entities across 6 jurisdictions.

• Ensure compliance with the Group's accounting policies, ensuring consistent application of IFRS standards across all subsidiaries.

• Analyse new transactions and agreements from an IFRS perspective, providing technical accounting guidance to local accountants.

• Develop and implement controls to ensure delivery of high-quality financial information from subsidiaries.

• Coordinate and manage the audit process with external auditors, ensuring timely completion and high-quality reporting.

• Liaise with tax consultants and appraisers on matters impacting financial reporting.

• Report to the Regional Financial Controller and the Group IFRS Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience, including a background in Big4 audit combined with an in-house corporate role.

• Strong expertise in IFRS, supported by professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).

• Background in FMCG or manufacturing with multi-country operations is considered an advantage.

• Experience with ERP SAP (preferably S/4HANA) is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
