Junior Android Developer

Andersen invites a Junior Android Developer to join our professional team and contribute to innovative international projects across diverse industries and modern tech environments.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining features for Android applications.
• Implementing user interfaces according to design specifications and UX guidelines.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices.
• Participating in code reviews and improving code quality.
• Implementing business logic and integrating mobile applications with backend services.
• Writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure application stability.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.
• Collaborating with designers, backend developers, and QA engineers in an Agile environment.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and application performance.

Must-haves:

• Experience in Android development for 6+ months.
• Solid knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Experience with Compose.
• Understanding of Coroutines, Flow, and basic asynchronous programming principles.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android UI fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of REST API integration.
• Knowledge of Git and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
• Knowledge of Biometric authentication and QR/barcode scanning (ZXing).
• Experience using Detekt for code quality checks.
• Familiarity with debugging tools such as Hyperion/Chucker.
• Understanding of clean architecture principles.
