Analyze system, subsystem, hardware requirements from testing perspective
Write test cases and test scripts for testing system (CBTC) and subsystem (ATP, ATO, ATS) based on customer and system requirements as well as for system and subsystem integrations based on architecture and interfaces in a manual or automatic way
Identify, select simulators and other test equipment (i.e. Lab)
Maintain labs and tools equipment (i.e. Update release, Lab red line, implementing new tool (Sw or Hw) to support testing)
Execute test scripts in simulated or laboratory environment
Record test results and write test reports
Analyze and report defects, provide initial system analysis
Collaborate closely with the Requirements & Development & Safety & Verification & Validation Engineering
Contribute to improvements of testing processes, tools and methods by providing feedback, making proposals or implementing specific improvements
Ensuring that all testing activities are performed according to EN standards (50126, 501716) or other standards used in Railway, Signalling or Testing
Prepare and Participate to audits (i.e. update processes according to standards)
Other System Testing activities of the Division Signalling (i.e. ATOoverETCS, CWS)
Your Profile:
Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or another scientific area
Professional experience in railway signalling systems such as CBTC, ERTMS, Conventional Interlocking, ATO, Collision Warning Systems
Experience in system testing of complex and/or safety-critical systems
Knowledge of tools brings an advantage such as IBM (ERM, EWM, ETM), SVN
Experience with Python scripting language (strict requirement), PLC programming language is an advantage.
Testing experience in embedded systems or systems with SIL 1,2,3,4 (strict requirement) and a good understanding of the EN50716:2023 is preferred
ISTQB (International Software Qualification Testing) Foundation Level certificate preferred is an advantage.
Interested in establishing new solutions and applying new technologies and methods
Proactive mindset and strong team-player skills
Fluent in English is mandatory; the German language is an advantage
