Medical Affairs Manager / Medical Advisor

Key Responsibilities

Medical & Scientific Expertise

• Provide scientific and medical support for the oncology portfolio
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate clinical trial data
• Develop and review medical materials (slide decks, scientific Q&A, training content)
• Ensure medical accuracy of promotional and non-promotional materials
• Deliver internal medical trainings to cross-functional teams

KOL & External Engagement

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
• Organize and support advisory boards and scientific meetings
• Provide medical support at congresses and symposia
• Collect and communicate medical insights from the field

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial teams
• Provide medical input into brand strategy and launch planning
• Support product launches and lifecycle management initiatives

Clinical Research Support

• Provide medical support for local and global clinical trials
• Collaborate with investigators and research sites
• Support Investigator-Initiated Studies (where applicable)

Compliance & Pharmacovigilance

• Ensure all activities comply with company SOPs and local/international regulations
• Report and process safety information in accordance with pharmacovigilance requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Medical Doctor (MD) – required
• Specialization in Oncology/Hematology – preferred
• PhD – an advantage

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Advisor, or MSL role
• Experience within an international pharmaceutical or biotech company
• Proven experience in Oncology – required

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of oncology treatment guidelines and clinical practice
• Ability to critically appraise and interpret clinical data
• Experience in scientific presentations and stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of clinical research processes
• Understanding of compliance and pharmacovigilance requirements

Languages

• English – Upper-Intermediate or higher (fluent professional communication)
• Local – fluent
