As a GM&E Sales Coordinator, you will fully support, from administrative, customer service, and sale lead development perspectives, the Sales team to develop future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
What does GM&E SALES COORDINATOR do in a Hotel?
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking to rent event spaces, ensuring clear communication throughout the entire booking process.
Understand the hotel’s event offerings, packages, and amenities to advise clients on the best options for their needs.
Respond promptly to inquiries, generate event proposals, provide quotes, and ensure written confirmations for all bookings.
Liaise closely with clients to capture event details, ensuring all requirements are accurately conveyed to the operations team for smooth event execution.
Prepare and maintain up-to-date records, including booking details, customer preferences, and special requests.
Work alongside the operations team to ensure all logistical aspects (e.g., room setups, AV equipment, catering) are arranged per the client’s specifications.
Monitor client satisfaction before, during, and after events, addressing any concerns to ensure a seamless experience and encourage future business.
Conduct venue tours, presenting event spaces to prospective clients, and highlighting the hotel’s offerings.
