Almaty International Airport is looking for IT Engineers for Low-Voltage (ULV) Systems. We need specialist who have developed as engineers but are ready to take the next step into a coordinator or project manager role. It is important to speak the same language with technical specialists and understand the specifics of the systems you will be responsible for.

The IT Engineer for Low-Voltage Systems is responsible for fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control systems, and other ULV systems. These systems are also maintained by other technical teams and contractors. The engineer’s task is to supervise their work and projects, and to ensure proper interaction between the airport and the service providers.

• Coordination and technical oversight of ULV system contractors, ensuring compliance with approved TOR, SLA, and operational requirements.

• Monitoring of ULV projects and services (timelines, milestones, quality, and operational readiness), participation in testing and technical acceptance.

• Identification of risks, deviations, and non-compliance during project execution and service delivery, with timely escalation to management.

• Control of work scope and budgets, verification of technical justification for invoices and acceptance documents, and preparation of reports.

• At least 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of ULV systems, technical support, service coordination, and interaction with contractor organizations implementing communication, security, and structured cabling systems (SCS).
• Higher education in engineering, information technology, telecommunications, electronics, automation, or related technical fields.
• Knowledge of the principles of design and operation of ULV systems (security systems, communication systems, SCS), fundamentals of security and communication systems, SLA support models, project monitoring and reporting procedures, technical control and documentation methods. Understanding of regulatory requirements in the field of ULV and information security.
• Confident user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), experience with corporate IT systems, service desk platforms, and monitoring tools. Advanced PC user.
• Professional certifications in the field of ULV, security systems, telecommunications, or SCS are a plus. Ability to work with regulatory and technical documentation, interact with contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Fluency in English, Russian, and Kazakh.
