Business Development Manager | EU Market (FMCG)

Together with our partner — an international manufacturing FMCG company — we are hiring a Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth and profitability across EU markets.

This is a hands-on commercial role with ownership of strategy, revenue and partner development in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the EU market growth strategy (mid-term horizon).

  • Drive revenue and profitability across priority European markets.

  • Launch, scale and optimize distribution models across EU countries.

  • Identify, onboard and develop distributors, wholesalers and key partners.

  • Lead commercial negotiations and close distribution and partnership agreements.

  • Build and continuously refine pricing and financial models
    (duties, taxes, logistics, cost structure).

  • Adapt go-to-market strategy based on regulatory and market changes.

  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers across the value chain.

  • Sustainable growth of sales and profit across EU markets.

  • Strong and efficient distribution network in priority countries.

  • Healthy unit economics and scalable commercial model.

  • Long-term partnerships with distributors and key accounts.

Who we are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development / International Sales / Export within the EU.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling business across European markets.

  • Background in FMCG, food, HoReCa or consumer goods.

  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset (pricing, margins, economics).

  • Experience working with manufacturing companies is a strong advantage.

  • Fluent English for negotiations and contract management.

  • Independent, proactive and comfortable working in fast-changing environments.

Legal & Employment Framework

  • Employment will be with a Russian manufacturing FMCG company.

  • The role focuses on EU markets, with regular business travel across Europe.

  • Candidates must:

    • hold Russian citizenship, and

    • have the legal ability to freely and regularly enter EU countries
      (EU passport, permanent residence or equivalent long-term status).
