Position Title: Planning Engineer

Duration of services: 8-9 months for the duration of turnaround
Position Summary
The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring project schedules within the Oil & Gas sector. The role supports live and new projects, ensures schedule alignment with TAR activities, and coordinates with Project Managers, vendors, and contractors to maintain project productivity and performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Primavera P6
- Microsoft Project
- Power BI
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced level)
- ROSER system
- Good understanding of project lifecycle and TAR-related works
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and isometrics
- Experience in reviewing and analyzing Business Partner / Contractor schedules
- Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed schedules for live projects.
- Support the creation and establishment of baseline schedules for new projects.
- Work closely with Project Managers to refresh and align execution schedules.
- Review and analyze Business Partners’ and Contractors’ schedules.
- Monitor critical paths, productivity, and potential schedule risks.
- Support planning activities related to TAR works and active PCNs.
- Coordinate with vendors to align fabrication, delivery, and installation milestones.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and schedule performance analysis.
- Assist in preparation of recovery plans and resource leveling when required.
