We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Deal Advisory, Real Estate team. This role focuses on supporting real estate advisory projects across various stages, including valuation, feasibility studies, development consulting, strategy development, and M&A transactions. The Associate will contribute to financial analysis, oversee preparation of valuation models, and support the development of client deliverables, while also coaching junior team members and contributing to project execution.
As our Associate, you will:
- Participate in multiple stages of Deal Advisory projects within the Real Estate practice, including valuation, feasibility studies, development consulting, strategy development, and M&A transactions.
- Perform financial analysis of real estate projects, companies, and investment holdings.
- Prepare and review financial models of varying complexity – from quick assessment models to fully flexible, comprehensive models.
- Conduct industry research and real estate market analysis.
- Calculate and review the value of real estate assets using market-based valuation approaches.
- Prepare and review reports and presentations for internal and client use.
- Coach and support junior team members in project-related tasks.
- Prepare and oversee the development of marketing and presentation materials to support business development and client engagement initiatives.
You're the perfect fit for this role, if you:
- Hold a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Valuation, Construction, or a related field, with strong academic performance.
- Have 2–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, M&A advisory, valuation consulting, or a real estate company.
- Possess strong knowledge of valuation methodologies and techniques, including DCF and other valuation approaches.
- Understand the applicability and specifics of different valuation approaches within Kazakhstan and international valuation practice.
- Have knowledge of financial accounting and familiarity with IFRS.
- Are an advanced user of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Possess strong analytical abilities, including numeracy, data structuring, and advanced research skills.
- Have excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills in English.
- Are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Hold or are pursuing professional certifications such as Appraiser Certificate, ASA, or RICS (considered an advantage).
