System Administrator

Weby Corp is a fast-growing company specializing in e-commerce, retail, warehouse and transportation logistics, and accounting.

We are planning to expand our team in the near future and looking for an ambitious System Administrator to join our team and grow into a high-level SysOps/Network Engineer. If you have a solid grasp of networking fundamentals, love working in the Linux terminal, and are eager to learn how to manage a complex international infrastructure, we want to meet you.

In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers to maintain our hybrid server and network environment. You won’t just be "fixing PCs"—you will be helping to ensure the stability, security, and performance of a production infrastructure spanning both physical hardware and the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Support: Assist in managing hybrid server environments (cloud + on-premise) to ensure maximum uptime.
• Network Maintenance: Help configure and monitor network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls like MikroTik and Ubiquiti) and maintain secure VPN solutions.
• Server Admin: Support Linux (Ubuntu/Debian/CentOS) and Windows Server environments, focusing on patching, updates, and security hardening.
• ServiceDesk: Technical support for company users and assistance with onboarding and offboarding.
• Monitoring: Track network performance, respond to system alerts, and assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues.

Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years in a technical support or junior admin role;

• Networking Basics: Solid understanding of VPN/Proxy, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs;

• OS Knowledge: Proficiency with the Linux command line and a basic understanding of Windows Server roles (AD, Group Policy);

• Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset and the ability to research solutions to complex technical hurdles;

• Communication: Good technical English (reading documentation and communicating with international teams).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Digital Ocean, AWS, or other cloud providers;

• Experience with automation and integration of Asana, Slack, Jira, Google Workspace and Virtualization;

• Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
