Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct customer due diligence (CDD/EDD) and ongoing monitoring;
- Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening;
- Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and escalate potential suspicious activity;
- Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with the preparation and submission of STRs/SARs;
- Help to maintain and update core compliance policies, procedures, registers and daily/weekly reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a compliance role;
- Experience in customer onboarding (KYC/CDD/EDD), transaction monitoring, and investigations;
- Knowledge in sanctions screening tools;
- Core UK and Canadian AML/CFT regulations;
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and deliver high-quality work in a part-time capacity;
- Comfortable with compliance SaaS platforms and remote work tools;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Professional certification (ICA, ACAMS, etc.) is a strong advantage.
