🌍 We’re Hiring: Financial Controller
📍 Location: Remote
💡 About Us
Yesim is an international product IT company operating in the global eSIM and digital connectivity market. We are a fast-growing business with a strong focus on unit economics, scalability, and long-term value creation. At this stage of growth, we are strengthening our finance function to ensure accurate reporting, cost management, and reliable cash planning across the organization.
✨ About the Role
As Financial Controller, you will own operational financial controlling, cost management, and management reporting integrity.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining an accrual-based management P&L, linking it with cash flow, payment registers, budgets, and short-term cash forecasts.
Your key mission is to ensure consistency and transparency across all financial reports — so management always has a clear, reliable view of costs, cash, and profitability.
This role plays a central part in connecting finance operations, accounting, FP&A, and treasury into a unified financial control system.
📝 Responsibilities
Management Reporting & Financial Integration: Build and maintain accrual-based management P&L. Ensure consistency between Management P&L, Cash Flow, Payment Request Ledger, 30-day Cash Projection, and Budgets. Reconcile planned, accrued, and paid expenses. Maintain a single financial logic across reports and systems. Initially build reporting models in Excel / Google Sheets and gradually support automation in 1C / ERP.
Cost & Vendor Control: Control OPEX and vendor spending via payment registers and approval workflows. Verify counterparties, invoices, contracts, and service delivery. Ensure alignment between budgets, contracts, invoices, accruals, and payments. Build unified spend visibility: “who we pay, for what, and why”. Monitor large and recurring vendors and service providers.
Financial Controlling & Management Close: Lead plan/fact analysis for operating expenses. Prepare monthly management close (P&L and Cash Flow). Ensure accuracy and completeness of actual data. Maintain cost allocation by business lines, products, and departments. Support forecasting through reliable actuals and accruals.
Cash Planning & Treasury Coordination: Prepare and maintain 30-day cash forecast (D0–D30, EOM view). Track upcoming obligations and short-term liquidity risks. Coordinate cash planning with Treasury and FP&A. Ensure linkage between forecasts, payment plans, and budgets.
Budgeting Support: Support expense-side budgeting together with Head of Finance. Track execution of departmental and project budgets. Identify cost overruns and deviations early. Provide structured inputs for rolling forecasts.
Reporting Automation & Process Development: Develop and automate controlling and payment reports. Improve integration between 1C, approval systems, and management reporting. Participate in further automation of invoice processing and reporting. Support development of scalable finance processes.
