What you will enjoy doing
- In this role you will enjoy being part of a procurement team supporting direct and indirect equipment and services supply for Uzbekistan, partly supporting also Kazakhstan.
- Procurement Specialist identifies and qualifies new potential suppliers by carrying out market research, as well as evaluates new and existing ones.
- Participates in the development of local procurement strategies and in the adaptation of related Global strategies to local working environment. Assures compliance with internal and national regulations.
- Prepares and issues Request for Quotation (RFQ) to selected bidders as per Linde strategy, coordinates RFQ process, evaluates and negotiates quotations and prepares bid analyses and comparison for all involved stakeholders as well as prepares contracts.
- Processes purchase requisitions and issues purchase orders to selected suppliers and expedites orders, assuring deliveries are on schedule, organizes deliveries, arranges containers and transportation.
- Reviews supplier complaints and claims.
- Maintains data in 1C, prepares timely reports, standardizes and optimizes data.
- Is involved in digitalization and efficiency initiatives and contributes to Linde productivity targets.
What makes you great:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in economics or engineering; or alternative education complemented by relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics and tender processes, preferably in a manufacturing business environment.
- Experience with import/export and logistic companies, as well as knowledge of legislation (labor and commercial) in the context of procurement.
- Negotiation skills and strong communication abilities.
- Stakeholders' management and business acumen competencies and the ability to identify commercial risk and minimize associated consequences.
- Experience in MS Office, 1C, SAP/SRM, high level of computer literacy.
- Fluent in Russian and Uzbek languages, intermediate level of English.
