Position: Logistics Specialist

Location: Aktau

Type of work: Permanent, office-based position

Areas of responsibility

• Assist in processing applications for the Port of Aktau
• Ability to book space with Caspian crossing westbound/eastbound
• Inspect containers for compliance and condition
• Preparation, verification and validation of shipping and customs documentation
• Manage and track the CAB equipment pool
• Preparation and submission of reports
• Interaction with company offices, haulers, forwarding companies, port authorities
• Initiate and manage contracts with clients and suppliers
• Conduct daily communication with drivers and monitor their current location and transportation status.
• Participate in the implementation process of the transport management systems
• Develop comparative tables and perform analytical assessments

What do we expect

• 2-3 years of experience in logistics and transportation
• Proficiency in Kazakh, Russian, and English (both written and spoken)
• Confident PC user with solid knowledge of standard office software
• Understanding of seaport operations and interaction with relevant government authorities
