Junior JavaScript Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications

• Create and execute test cases based on client requirements and user stories

• Analyze issues, reproduce defects and prepare detailed bug reports

• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify and resolve quality issues

• Participate in manual testing activities as required by the project

• Contribute to team meetings and discussions on testing strategies

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, or experience with Java or .NET and a willingness to transition to JavaScript

• Understanding of test automation concepts and related tools

• Familiarity with software testing principles and the software development lifecycle

• Proficiency in writing clear test cases and documenting defects

• Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail

• Willingness to learn new tools and frameworks in a team setting

• English language proficiency at a B1 level or higher

• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and processes
