Family Physician\GP (ВОП/врач общей практики/терапевт)

Family Physician Job Duties:

• Standard medical care to expat (English-speaking) patients of various ages - from infants to elderly: assessment, diagnostics, administer therapy, prescribe medications (correct pediatric dose!!!), vaccinations, initial assessment of trauma and other critical conditions, other specialized medical care as required,

• Translation and interpretation of medical records, lab tests, images

• Patients' escort to referral diagnostics facilities for investigations and consultations

• Organization of medical screening for various pediatric groups according to KZ Regulations

• Perform manipulations such as lab tests, iv infusions, im injections, suture removal

• Home visits to patients

• Provide support to medical team and other health care provider

• Conduct First aid & CPR trainings

Requirements:

• Must have successfully completed an internship in Family Medicine and have a valid license

• Fluent medical English at proficiency level (min C1-C2, advance) to effectively communicate with patients and expat colleagues.

• Have fast typing skills and be experienced in software designed for electronic medical records.

• Excellent communication and diplomatic skills to interact with patients and their families. Be highly empathic

• Be physically active, mobile, efficient and enthusiastic. Responsive to management and team needs

• Always be accessible and approachable 24/7, able to urgently response to medical emergencies.

• Practice healthy life style and be an example to patients

• Have time management skills. Be disciplined, accurate and precise. Always come on time and strive for the best quality performance

• Know and obey international and Kazakh standards of medical care (clinical guidelines and protocols), as well as KZ Regulations in the health care

• Excellent knowledge of emergency medicine including First Aid and CPR/ infant CPR
