Drone Pilot

Key Responsibilities

- To conduct and operate the assigned flights using Hybrid Drones focusing on Agriculture (farms) assigned by the Head of Operations.

- Responsible for day-to-day Aerial Operations and Services related matters, including precise surveying, mapping and spraying of pesticides at different crop fields.

- Understand all stages of crop growth, including nutritional requirements, typical insects, diseases, weeds and the relevance with drone-based solutions.

- Work closely with the site operations team in coordinating ground and flight operations efforts, including the mission planning based on all statutory requirements, safety & health regulations, industrial standards and certifications.

- To assist the Head of Operations in managing the technical services of the assigned UAV for smooth operations and cost-effective solutions.

- Accountable to ensure the assigned company’s UAV is maintained and handled with care, and perform the scheduled service and maintenance on the respective UAV.

- Responsible for preparing findings and summary at end of the pilot, submit monthly operations report, analysis & other necessary reports to the Supervisor/Management. - Reports directly to Head of Operations – UAV/Drone Services and coordinates with Headquarters in all operations & administrative matters.

Job Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Aviation, or a related field.

- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training will be provided).

- Interest in drone technology and agriculture.

- Basic understanding of crop growth stages, pests, and spraying techniques is an advantage.

- Willing to learn how to operate hybrid drones for mapping and spraying in farms.

- Must be willing to work outdoors, including at farms and plantations.

- Able to travel and stay at project sites when required.

- Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions well.

- Good teamwork and communication skills.

- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, simple report writing)
