IT Director Russia+

As IT Director, you will lead the company’s IT function in Russia+ within a verticalized global IT model, ensuring stable operations across business applications, IT services, data & AI platforms, and the local IT project portfolio. You will act as the key bridge between local business leadership and global/regional IT pillars, owning successful “market-mile” rollout of corporate solutions and delivery of local platforms. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team (internal - of 30+) and vendors covering Sales & Marketing and GSC operations in Russia.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

· Partner with senior leaders (Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, GSC) to translate business priorities into an IT roadmap.

· Represent global IT locally, align global capabilities with local needs, and defend IT priorities in management-level forums.

· Define local IT direction and architecture across applications, integrations, data/AI, and platform modernization.

· Build and maintain the systems roadmap (e.g., WMS/TMS, CRM, BI, SFA) in line with global standards and local regulatory requirements.

· Ensure service stability and quality across locally delivered and global/regional service pillars; act as senior escalation point.

· Own the local IT project portfolio, coordinating dependencies and delivery with global/regional teams.

· Lead change management (communications, training, adoption) for major rollouts and transformations.

· Select and manage external providers: contracts, SLAs, performance, and cost optimization.

· Ensure security, compliance, risk management and business continuity in collaboration with regional cybersecurity.

· Develop and lead the IT organization: role clarity, capacity planning, talent development and succession - delivering through matrix structures with limited direct authority over global resources.

YOU ARE/HAVE:

· Higher technical/IT education (MBA is a plus).

· 10+ years in IT, including 5-7+ years in IT leadership roles in international companies.

· Proven ability to deliver results in matrix/global organizations and through shared service models.

· Experience in FMCG, Retail, or large production/distribution environments.

· Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes (commercial, logistics, production, finance).

· Hands-on exposure to enterprise systems (ERP, WMS/TMS, CRM), BI/analytics, data platforms, integrations; familiarity with AI/ML capabilities is a plus.

· Strong vendor management experience in the Russian IT market; confident with contracts, SLAs and budget ownership.

· Executive-level communication and presentation skills; strong negotiation and results orientation.

· Comfortably operating under uncertainty and making fast, informed decisions.

· Fluent English (must).
