Construction Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of project control documentation.

• Conducting project status meetings with the Operations Director.

• Preparation and presentation of plan/fact budget control reports.

• Updating and maintaining project control documentation.

• Liaison with the legislative authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

• Coordination with the appointed Project Engineering Contractor; review and approval of project documentation.

• Supervision of construction and installation works at the project site.

• Incoming inspection and verification of supplied materials for compliance with project specifications.

• Planning and organizing technical meetings with construction contractors.

• Control and preparation of as-built (executive) documentation for construction works.

• Preparation and management of construction permitting documentation.

• Liaison with the appointed Project Construction Contractor; control of work schedule and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Liaison with equipment and material suppliers.

• Performing other assignments of the Company’s Management within the scope of competence.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree or equivalent in related construction industry
• Experienced with RoK Project development, startup, commissioning and regulatory requirements in construction and electrical space, strong work experience project management and HSE/OE requirements.
• Well familiar with RoK Industrial safety requirements
• Minimum 6 years of experience, preferably with a major recognized construction company.
• Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of similar construction projects
• Knowledge of ROK Building regulations and legislative requirements
• Hands-on experience with negotiation for equipment and materials as required
• Fluency in oral and written communications in English, Russian and Kazakh.
