Labor migration lawyer

JettyCloud.com is an IT company in Georgia, building high-load cloud solutions for business communications.

We develop for RingCentral.com, a UCaaS platform trusted by over 1 million businesses worldwide.

We are currently looking for a Labor migration lawyer to provide legal support to the company on civil, labor, migration, and administrative law matters, including contract work and interaction with government authorities.

Location: Tbilisi

Format: In-office

Contract: 1 year (with possible extension)

Probation period: 3 months

Responsibilities:

Full legal support of labor migration cases, including:

• Work residence permits (including IT residence permits)

• Labor permits and related procedures

• Extensions, changes of status, renewals
  Family reunification cases related to employment

Direct interaction with Georgian authorities, including:

• Public Service Hall (House of Justice)

• Migration Service of the Ministry of Labor and Health

• Agency for Service Development of the Ministry of Justice

• Labor Inspection

Legal support of HR and business teams on employment and migration matters:

• Monitoring legislative changes in labor and migration law and assessing their impact on the company

• Maintaining and updating internal knowledge base and guidelines related to labor migration

• Identifying legal risks and proactively proposing solutions

Proven hands-on experience in labor migration and employment-related legal matters in Georgia:

• Practical experience working with Georgian government authorities involved in migration and labor regulation

• Experience with real cases is mandatory

Requirements:

Higher legal education (law degree required)
Legal knowledge

Solid understanding of:

• Georgian labor law

• Migration law

• Administrative procedures related to employment and residence permits

• Ability to work with consolidated and up-to-date legal sources

Languages:

Georgian - fluent, Russian - C1, English - C1
