We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Demand Generation Manager to lead our outbound marketing efforts across email and social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic outbound campaigns that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), creating compelling outreach sequences, and continuously monitoring and optimizing campaign performance to drive lead generation and revenue growth.
This role requires a strong understanding of B2B sales and marketing processes in Software development industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with the leadership team to define the ICP, develop targeted messaging, and implement scalable outbound strategies that deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities:
ICP Development & Strategy Creation:
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing leadership to refine our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and value proposition.
- Identify new segments and campaign opportunities based on market signals and performance trends.
Campaign Planning & Execution:
- Design and run multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn) to generate SQLs.
- Craft personalized outreach sequences and messaging for different buyer personas.
- A/B test subject lines, messaging, timing, and formats to continuously improve engagement and conversions.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Primary KPI: Number and quality of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) generated from outbound campaigns.
- Track key performance metrics (open rate, reply rate, conversion to SQL).
- Analyze campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations.
- Prepare weekly reports on campaign health and SQL quality.
Tool Management & Integration:
- Act as the primary specialist for Clay: building, configuring, and maintaining outbound workflows. Clay will be your main operational and analytical tool for building outbound workflows.
- Create multi-step workflows for data enrichment, filtering, verification, and routing leads into outreach platforms.
- Integrate Clay with tools such as Apollo, SmartLead, Instantly, Make, Apify, or similar.
Cross-team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with the Sales team on lead handoff and feedback loops.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in outbound marketing and share insights with the team.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in outbound marketing, demand generation, or B2B sales development.
- Proven experience with Clay.com: building complex tables, workflows, integrations, and enrichment logic.
Skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing outbound campaigns that generate qualified leads.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, LinkedIn outreach strategies, and lead nurturing techniques.
- Proficiency in using CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Creatio).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and personalized messages.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies, email development strategies and tools as well as data-driven optimization strategies.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and digital marketing tactics is a plus.
