We are seeking a skilled HR & Payroll Specialist to manage global recruitment and payroll operations, with a strong focus on US compliance, labor laws, GAAP accounting standards, and occasional state-level interactions.
Role Overview:
As our HR & Payroll Specialist, you will own the end-to-end recruitment process for our global team, manage payroll operations, and ensure strict adherence to US employment laws, GAAP accounting standards, and compliance regulations. You will also occasionally interact with state DOL and DOR for reporting, audits, and compliance inquiries. Good English is a must, as this role involves regular communication with employees, management, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the onboarding process for new employees globally, ensuring compliance with US labor laws and smooth integration into the company.
Manage payroll processes for US and international employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure full compliance with US employment laws, payroll regulations, and tax requirements.
Occasionally liaise with state DOL and DOR for reporting, audits, and compliance matters.
Maintain payroll and HR records in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Provide guidance to management on HR policies, benefits administration, and compliance matters.
Develop and improve HR and payroll processes to optimize efficiency across global teams.
Other ad. hoc. duties.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in HR, payroll, and compliance for US employees.
Strong knowledge of US labor laws, payroll regulations, and GAAP standards.
Experience with state-level DOL and DOR reporting and compliance is a plus.
Experience working with global teams and understanding international HR practices.
Excellent communication skills in English; good English is a must.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
