AI/ML Engineer (IBM Watson)

Andersen is hiring an AI/ML Engineer (IBM Watson) to support a user-focused eCommerce platform for pre-owned vehicle sales, enhancing customer experience and enabling a modern, scalable digital marketplace.

The project is focused on designing, developing, and deploying a user-centric eCommerce platform for pre-owned vehicle sales. The goal is to enhance customer experience, strengthen brand engagement, and support online revenue growth by providing a modern, convenient digital marketplace.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions using IBM Watson services (Watson Assistant, Watson Discovery, Watson NLP, Watson Speech).
- Building, training, and maintaining NLP models and conversational AI solutions.
- Developing and supporting intelligent chatbots and virtual assistants.
- Integrating Watson services with backend systems, APIs, and external platforms.
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into AI-driven solutions.
- Configuring dialog flows, intents, entities, and conversation logic.
- Evaluating model performance and continuously improving AI solutions.
- Ensuring scalability, performance, and security of AI implementations.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Collaborating with developers, analysts, QA, and DevOps teams.

Must-haves:
- Hands-on experience with IBM Watson AI / Watsonx for 3+ years.
- Practical experience with Watson Assistant, Watson Discovery, Watson NLP, or similar services.
- Strong understanding of NLP and conversational AI principles.
- Experience integrating AI services via REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud is a strong advantage).
- Basic understanding of machine learning and data analytics.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with Watsonx.ai and Watsonx.data.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade chatbots or AI assistants.
- Familiarity with other AI platforms (Azure AI, Google AI, OpenAI, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of AI security, governance, and ethical AI principles.
