We are expanding our local Risk and Compliance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position working closely with Arab colleagues, with all communication conducted in English.

Occasional travel within the MENA region (including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and others) may be required. Please note that physical presence in the office is mandatory.

Position: DevOps Engineer
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience; Kubernetes expertise is a must.
Language: English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
Work Location: Relocation or long-term assignment (9+ months to 2 years) in Saudi Arabia

Your Responsibilities

• Administer Kubernetes clusters.

• Provision and manage cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, rollbacks, and versioned releases.

• Automate tasks with Bash/Python scripting and use IaC for reproducible, peer-reviewed changes.

• Monitor and operate systems (metrics, logs, tracing); define SLOs/SLIs, set up alerts, and maintain runbooks.

• Implement security best practices: secrets management, vulnerability scanning, image hardening, and access controls.

• Lead incident and change management processes (triage, RCA, remediation).

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Message Brokers: Practical experience with Kubernetes and Apache Kafka.

• Operating Systems: Strong command of Linux distributions (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu).

• Containerization & Orchestration: Proficient with Docker; experienced with Kubernetes (K8s) and/or OpenShift for deployment and scaling.

• Databases: Skilled in relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL systems (MongoDB, Redis).

• Monitoring & Observability: Expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing tools (OpenTracing, Jaeger, AppDynamics), and logging stacks (ELK, Vector, Fluentd).

• CI/CD & Automation: Experience designing and managing pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or TeamCity; familiarity with artifact management (GitLab Packages, Docker Registry).

• Version Control: Proficient in Git and platforms like GitLab and Bitbucket.
