About the Company

Poison Drop Trading LLC is a dynamic and growing retail and e-commerce company engaged in fashion jewelry and accessories. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with ERP systems, and the ability to manage multiple financial and administrative tasks with precision.

Key Responsibilities

Finance, ERP and Accounting Operations

• Manage the First Bit ERP system, including daily accounting operations and data accuracy.
• Manage acquiring reports in the First Bit ERP system.
• Monitor sales invoices and ensure correct VAT application.
• Verify purchase orders, import invoices, and customs documentation, ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation.
• Monitor and maintain the company’s daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Prepare monthly consignment reports by the 5th of each month, communicate with suppliers, and ensure timely settlements.
• Provide ad hoc financial and administrative support to the operations team as required.

VAT, Tax & Management Accounting

• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portal.
• Process the preparation of annual financial statements and corporate tax filing.
• Post weekly bank statements and cash movements in Finolog - management system.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports and update the cash flow statements.
• Support legal and compliance matters in coordination with the legal team.

HR & Payroll

• Maintain up-to-date staff records in the ERP system (new hires, leaves, etc.).
• Process monthly payroll and coordinate WPS submissions.
• Coordinate with the PRO office the documents clearing for staff & the new hires

Banking & Payments

• Organize, schedule, and execute supplier and service-provider payments in line with due dates.
• Maintain and update company bank account information across all banking platforms for compliance purposes.
• Monitor company communication channels and emails and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Experience with First Bit ERP or similar systems is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of VAT and corporate tax regulations in the UAE.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English (Russian is an advantage).
