Business Analyst with Trading experience

We're growing rapidly, and Innowise is seeking a Business Analyst with any Trading platforms or solutions experience. You will be responsible for identifying and defining the business needs of our clients and stakeholders, and helping to determine solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems. This work is typically within a specific business area, and the role may be part of an IT project development environment or an individual contributor at the business as a Consultant for the Trading Competency Center.

Required Industry Knowledge:

• Understanding of all major global features of exchanges;
• Knowledge of the full exchange-traded derivatives trade lifecycle;
• Understanding of Capital Markets / Investment Banks;
• Understanding of financial regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, and FCA guidelines;
• Knowledge of market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.) and liquidity; aggregation platforms;
• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities:

• Define business, financial, and functional requirements with decision makers, systems owners, and end users;
• Identify and establish the scope of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions;
• Analyze business processes, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces and process changes required to address issues;
• Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution across development, support, and technical business users;
• Serve as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for trading systems initiatives and development;
• Communicate effectively with the business and development team.

• Degrees in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, CS, or related fields;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commodity Trading;
• Professional certifications (CFA, CFOA, CAIA etc.);
