Senior Partner Consultant (Agency) - This strategic role is responsible for driving client revenue growth through expert consultation, long-term relationship management, and the optimization of Google Ads campaigns using advanced data analysis and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years of progressive professional experience in a top-tier agency, consultancy, or digital vendor, with a clear focus on strategic business development and client portfolio leadership.
- Commercial & Strategic Impact: Demonstrated track record of consultative selling and driving revenue/spend growth for a dedicated book of complex, high-value clients.
- Experience leading the Joint Business Planning (JBP) process, defining annual objectives, and securing budget commitments from C-suite or VP-level client stakeholders.
- Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to act as the client's trusted strategic advisor, to execute cohesive, long-term digital strategies.
- Media Expertise: Deep, verifiable expertise across the full spectrum of Google advertising platforms (Search, PMax, YouTube, DV360, etc.) and their integration into a unified marketing measurement framework.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of the wider media industry, digital product delivery processes, and the ability to identify growth opportunities for clients.
- Strategic & Sales Skills: Demonstrated experience assessing and achieving agency success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling, and competitive selling.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Client Management & Business Development
- Own a portfolio of strategic high-value agencies by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
- Develop and maintain long-term, strong relationships with agencies, including leading C-level stakeholder relationships to drive business value and product adoption.
- Work across levels of agency partners to grow new and existing business consistently, delivering against quarterly business and product growth goals.
- Ensure alignment on strategic priorities with internal teams and external agency counterparts to provide a cohesive experience.
- Proactively identify client needs and growth opportunities, managing the sales pipeline effectively.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and Go-to-Market motions.
2. Product Expertise & Campaign Optimization
- Serve as the expert consultant for clients on Google Ads, advertising strategies, and campaign effectiveness.
- Utilize advanced data analysis to develop and implement tailored marketing solutions aligned with agencies business goals.
- Provide expert training and education to clients on new Google Ads product features and industry best practices.
- Assist clients in the detailed understanding and interpretation of complex campaign results and performance insights.
- Continuously improve expertise in Google Ads products and obtain relevant certifications.
