CENTRAL ASIAN UNIVERSITY is seeking a SAT Instructor to join the “Be Student” Program
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Digital SAT preparation courses for pre-foundation students, focusing on content mastery, test-taking strategies, and measurable score improvement. The role requires strong subject expertise, structured instruction, and the ability to work with students in an intensive, goal-oriented academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Digital SAT preparation classes (SAT Math and/or SAT Reading & Writing) for pre-foundation students.
- Plan and deliver structured SAT lessons covering content knowledge, test strategies, and time-management skills.
- Design and develop lesson plans, learning resources, practice materials, and grading rubrics aligned with program targets.
- Administer and invigilate diagnostic tests, practice exams, and progress quizzes; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Analyze student performance data (e.g., question-type analysis) and adjust instruction to address learning gaps.
- Support students through individualized study plans, office hours, and targeted remediation or enrichment sessions.
- Incorporate technology-enhanced learning tools, including online platforms, interactive resources, and digital practice materials.
- Coordinate with the program team to ensure consistency in content delivery, assessment, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Education & Certification:
Demonstrated professional competence in teaching the Digital SAT, supported by relevant instructional experience (formal academic degree is not mandatory).
Official SAT score of 1500 or above, with a perfect Math score of 800, is mandatory (official score report required).
Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in SAT preparation (Digital SAT preferred) or equivalent standardized-test preparation.
Experience teaching high school, foundation, or pre-foundation students is strongly preferred.
Hard Skills:
Strong knowledge of the Digital SAT structure, question types, and scoring principles.
High proficiency in at least one content area:

SAT Reading & Writing: grammar, rhetorical skills, reading comprehension, vocabulary-in-context

SAT Math: algebra, advanced math, problem-solving and data analysis, geometry, and trigonometry
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners in a fast-paced, goal-oriented course.

- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across departments.
- Effective time management and organizational skills; ability to meet grading and reporting deadlines.
- Desirable Criteria:
- Familiarity with student-centered, active-learning, and coaching-based instructional methods.
- Proven track record of student score improvement.
- Experience integrating IT and digital tools into test preparation.
- Experience in curriculum planning for intensive or short-term academic programs.
