About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2 years of experience in manual testing of web applications. You will be responsible for checking new features, finding issues before release, and helping the team deliver a stable, user-friendly product. Basic knowledge of test automation with Python (Pytest, Playwright) is a plus but not the main focus of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Review requirements and user stories to understand what needs to be tested.
Create and update test cases and checklists for web and/or mobile applications.
Perform manual testing of new features and existing functionality and record results.
Clearly log and track defects in a bug-tracking tool (e.g., Jira) and verify fixes.
Prepare simple test summaries (what was tested, main issues, and status).
Do basic API checks using tools like Postman when needed.
Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members in an Agile/Scrum setup.
When helpful, support the team with simple automated checks using Python (Pytest, Playwright).
Requirements
Around 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester.
Hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications.
Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
Experience using at least one bug-tracking tool (e.g., Jira or similar).
Basic understanding of APIs and tools like Postman is an advantage.
Basic familiarity with Python and running simple automated tests (Pytest, Playwright) is a plus.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Nice to Have
Experience with mobile test automation (e.g., Appium, Playwright, similar tools).
ISTQB or another recognized software testing certification.
