Cost Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction and engineering projects.

• Analyze project documentation to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.

• Develop and maintain cost databases and pricing templates.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure cost alignment and budget control.

• Review contractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.

• Monitor and update cost documentation throughout all project stages.

• Participate in budget planning, cost optimization, and financial reporting.

• Provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency and resource allocation.

Requirements:

• Higher technical or economic education (Construction, Engineering, Economics, or related field).

• 3–7 years of experience in cost estimation for construction or engineering projects.

• Solid understanding of cost estimation methodologies, construction processes, and market pricing.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and specialized cost estimation tools.

• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

• Languages: Kazakh, Russian, English (required); Chinese – desirable.
