Responsibilities
- Execute manual and exploratory testing for combat systems (buffs, debuffs, cooldowns, PvP/PvE, AI interactions).
- Perform regression and integration testing across combat features and balancing updates.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and verification matrices.
- Document, track, and prioritize issues in JIRA with clear, actionable feedback.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and producers to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
Requirements
- 2+ years of QA experience in systems-heavy or combat-focused game development (4X, strategy, or RPG preferred).
- Strong manual and exploratory testing skills for complex gameplay systems.
- Experience creating structured test plans, test cases, and regression matrices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify edge cases and complex system interactions.
- Understanding of combat mechanics (buffs, debuffs, cooldowns) and client–server behavior.
- Familiarity with Postman, REST APIs, Charles Proxy, Unity navigation, and debugging tools (BugSnag, DataDog, OpenSearch).
- Good English communication skills (B1 level or higher).
- Passion for strategy games and combat systems is a strong plus.
