Canteen Supervisor

Location: Tengiz

Schedule: Rotational 28 days on site / 28 days off

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the canteen, ensuring timely and efficient meal service

  • Coordinate and manage kitchen and service staff across multiple shifts

  • Monitor food preparation, portioning, and presentation to maintain consistent quality

  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP) and sanitary regulations

  • Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, and requisition of supplies

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food service areas

  • Support menu implementation and participate in tastings and product trials

  • Handle feedback from employees and escalate issues when necessary

  • Prepare daily operational reports and assist in performance evaluations

Requirements

  • Higher (postgraduate) or specialized secondary vocational education in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within catering
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP)

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in a rotational and remote environment

  • Relevant qualification or certification in hospitality, catering, or food service
