Overall purpose of the position:
- Supervision of drilling and non-drilling operations;
- Responsibility for managing and coordinating all aspects of wellsite activities;
- Ensuring safety;
- Ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational planning and execution:
- Develop and implement well plans, including drilling, completion, and workover programs.
- Plan and direct non-drilling operations such as well testing, wireline operations, coiled tubing operations, and well stimulation.
- Coordinate with drilling engineers, geologists, production engineers, and other relevant personnel to ensure consistency of well objectives.
- Coordinate with service providers and contractors to perform rig and non-rig operations.
2. Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, safety assessments, and risk analyses for all activities.
- Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety protocols.
- Implement and monitor company safety procedures during operations.
- Lead the response to any emergencies or incidents at the facility, ensuring the safety of all personnel.
3. Team Management
- Manage a team working with and without drilling rigs, including well workover specialists, wireline operators, coiled tubing operators, and other relevant personnel.
- Distribute tasks and responsibilities among team members based on their skills and experience.
- Provide mentorship to crew members to improve their technical performance and safety.
- Ensure proper communication and coordination between the drilling and non-drilling crew and other well personnel.
- Coordinate the work of drilling and non-drilling rigs, taking into account construction and production requirements, as well as the availability of contractors.
4. Equipment management:
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of equipment and materials for well workover and non-drilling rigs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics services to ensure timely delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
- Oversee maintenance and inspection of drilling and non-drilling equipment to prevent breakdowns and delays.
5. Cost control and reporting
- Track and control operating expenses, ensuring compliance with the project budget.
- Prepare and provide daily reports on the progress of work on workover and non-drilling rigs, equipment usage, and any issues that arise.
- Review and approve invoices related to well operations.
6. Stakeholder communication
- Act as the primary point of contact between the well site and the company's head office or client representatives.
- Provide regular updates on well site activities, progress, and any issues.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to discuss well performance and future plans.
7. Continuous improvement
- Analyze well performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous operations to optimize future activities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement among the well site team.

- Work schedule: 08:00-20:00, 28/28 shift (according to the work schedule);
- Kumli and Urtakum fields (Gazlinsky district, Bukhara region);
